In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shows a fun and effective way to beat the Sicilian Defense in just 7 moves. It is the Portsmouth Gambit which happens after 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.b4.
This tricky gambit works extremely well up to 1800 rating level as most of them make a losing mistake in just the 4th move of the opening. Even the former world champion Magnus Carlsen has used this dirty opening trick.
