Lichess Training Events

One of the biggest issues many improving players face is where to get some decent practice. Playing online tends to be fraught with difficulty because many players are there for fun rather than structured improvement.

I’ve now discovered a way round this by setting up a Tigerchess Themed Training team at Lichess. Once enough players have joined (I figure I need at least 100) I can set up events which start from useful practice positions, for example key middle games and endgames as well as positions that arise in some of my Tigerchess opening material. Events will be arranged so that both Europeans and Americans can take part, so probably weekend afternoons and evenings as well as weekday evenings.

So please join my team if you’d like to take part, events will be announced at Lichess, the Tiger Chess Inner Circle and on my Twitter feed.
